iPhone 6s

0 min read
Recently I got myself an iPhone 6s Plus. Some first thoughts are up on my blog channel at http://stressedtechnician.com/iphone-6s-impressions/ Generally they are very favourable, however the one thing that lets is down is on the photo side of things. Not the physical camera, but Apple's built-in camera app. It really does annoy me in the way it does (or doesn't) work, however there are plenty of other camera apps to play with in the app store. It does also highlight that despite how good it may potentially be, it is still no substitute for a good quality point-and-shoot.

I've a Panasonic TZ10 and a Samsung Galaxy S2 and have used them both quite extensively, so I thought I'd do a bit of a 'compare and contrast' of the results. My thoughts on this are up on my blog http://stressedtechnician.com/camera-quality-smartphone-vs-point-and-shoot/ at my stressedtechnician.com site.

I do like YouTube, but it has been irritating me intensely recently. YouTube makes a big fuss about people mis-using copyright material, yet YouTube and its associates are quite happy to claim other people's material as theirs! A few thoughts about that :- http://stressedtechnician.com/irritated-with-youtube/
